Legal Issues Conference
Mississippi State University (MSU) will again host the Legal Issues Conference on the Starkville campus April 30 - May 2, 2014.
Topics will include ADA requirements and accommodations, Title IX, the Campus SAVE Act, de-escalating student crisis, Clery Act reporting, and identifying and dealing with at-risk students.
Brett Sokolow, J.D. and Brian Van Brunt, Ed.D. partners with NCHERM; William Creeley, J.D. FIRE's Director of Legal and Public Advocacy; Alison Kiss, Executive Director of the Clery Center for Security On Campus, Inc.; Jeffrey C. Sun, J.D., Ph.D., an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership & Law at the University of North Dakota and a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University; and Katie Wolfe, Special Litigation Counsel for the U.S. Department of Justice, Disability Rights Office will serve as guest speakers.
